Three teams participated in the inaugural Gay Bowl held at Hollywood High School in April of Charter membership included Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. One year later Atlanta, Chicago, and San Diego joined in the festivities for Gay Bowl II in San Francisco. Since then, the tournament has grown to over. The Sin City Classic brings hot athletes from all over the world to Las Vegas for 4 days of competitive sport and nights of parties and events. Sin City Classic takes place over the MLK long weekend, so the city will be busier than normal. It is also the Hustlaball weekend.
The primary function of the International Gay Bowling Organization is to provide educational services, communication avenues and social opportunities to promote the sport of bowling and to enrich the lives of individuals through leagues and tournaments worldwide. Who We Are Created in , the Minnesota Gay Flag Football League (MNGFFL) is a (c) (3) flag football league that seeks to promote the positive social and athletic enjoyment of American Flag Football. The IGR Bingham Cup is an international gay rugby union tournament named in honor of Mark Kendall Bingham, a rugby player and a hero of United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, Mark Bingham was openly gay and played rugby for the San Francisco Fog and the Gotham Knights, embodying the values of inclusivity and diversity in the sport. The tournament serves as a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and sportsmanship within the rugby community.
